Fortnite Goes Big (Literally) with Snoop, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD

Fortnite just turned its virtual concert game up to kaiju levels. Its latest in-game music event brought together Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD for a colossal show featuring planet-hopping, lore drops, and a lot of nostalgia.

The event started at Snoop’s compound, transitioned to a space jam with the Doggfather himself, and escalated with Eminem battling a giant robot mid-storm. Ice Spice stomped onto the scene in full Godzilla mode before Juice WRLD’s tracks wrapped things up with glowing butterflies (a nod to Fortnite’s infamous black hole event). Players even caught a sneak peek at Fortnite’s next battle royale island, which launched this morning.

Epic Games has clearly found its groove with these mega-concerts, blending music and gameplay in ways that rival traditional tours. Plus, Juice WRLD’s new animated music video, set in Fortnite, debuted right after the show.

Mark your calendars: Fortnite OG makes its permanent return December 6, bringing back the original map and plenty of feels.

Elon Musk wants the brakes slammed on OpenAI’s for-profit ambitions. In a motion filed late Friday, his lawyers requested a preliminary injunction to block OpenAI’s transition to a for-profit structure, claiming it would make the company unable to pay damages if Musk wins his lawsuit. Musk alleges shady dealings by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and raises antitrust concerns.

The legal fireworks center on claims that OpenAI and Microsoft allegedly discouraged investors from funding competitors like Musk’s xAI, which could violate US antitrust laws. Musk also alleges Microsoft used its ties to OpenAI to access “competitively sensitive information,” potentially running afoul of the Clayton Act.

OpenAI’s response? Spokeswoman Hannah Wong dismissed Musk’s claims as “utterly without merit,” marking the fourth time similar allegations have surfaced.

Zoom out: OpenAI’s structural changes and regulatory talks are in the spotlight, and this lawsuit could mean a rocky road ahead for both AI innovation and competition law.

Huge Leak: Intel’s Battlemage GPUs Aim for Affordable Gaming

Intel’s gearing up to expand its Arc lineup with the release of two entry-level GPUs, the Arc B570 and B580, and leaked specs suggest they’re targeting budget-conscious gamers. According to marketing materials shared by leaker Roland Quandt, the Arc B570 boasts 18 Xe2 cores, 10GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 160-bit memory bus, a 2.6GHz clock speed, and HDMI 2.1/DisplayPort 2.1 support. It’s also packing an 8-pin PCIe power connector.

The slightly beefier Arc B580 could bring 20 Xe2 cores, 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 192-bit bus, and a 2.8GHz clock. Early leaks point to competitive pricing, with Intel’s “Limited Edition” B580 potentially debuting at just $250—undercutting rivals like Nvidia’s RTX 4060 Ti ($399) and AMD’s RX 7600 ($269).

Mark your calendar: Intel will officially unveil these GPUs on December 3rd at 9 AM ET on YouTube. Affordable gaming just got more interesting.
