Elon Musk Sees Apple for Rigging the AI Game
Elon Musk is dragging Apple and OpenAI into court over what he calls an AI monopoly built around Siri and ChatGPT. Meanwhile, Apple’s foldable iPhone leaks and Google’s Pixel 10 launch prove the gadget wars aren’t slowing down.
What’s up, Tech Squad? If you’ve ever wished your iPhone could bend without breaking, or that your Pixel could finally cling to a charger like a fridge magnet, this was your week. Apple’s foldable iPhone rumors are heating up, Google dropped the Pixel 10 lineup, and Elon Musk…well, he’s suing Apple and OpenAI for AI “monopoly vibes.” Just another normal Monday in techland.
Learn from this investor’s $100m mistake
In 2010, a Grammy-winning artist passed on investing $200K in an emerging real estate disruptor. That stake could be worth $100+ million today.
One year later, another real estate disruptor, Zillow, went public. This time, everyday investors had regrets, missing pre-IPO gains.
Now, a new real estate innovator, Pacaso – founded by a former Zillow exec – is disrupting a $1.3T market. And unlike the others, you can invest in Pacaso as a private company.
Pacaso’s co-ownership model has generated $1B+ in luxury home sales and service fees, earned $110M+ in gross profits to date, and received backing from the same VCs behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

Musk sues Apple + OpenAI over AI “monopoly”

Elon Musk’s legal salvos have a new target: Apple and OpenAI. His xAI startup just filed a lawsuit in Texas claiming the two giants conspired to lock up the AI market and keep rivals (like Elon’s Grok) out of the spotlight.
Musk argues Apple has been sidelining competitors by:
Giving Siri exclusive ChatGPT integration while leaving apps like Grok stuck on the sidelines
“Deprioritizing” rival AI apps in the App Store’s recommendation lists
Blocking access to the billions of iPhone users whose data could supercharge training for other chatbots
The complaint says Apple and OpenAI’s partnership leaves iPhone users with “no choice” but to use ChatGPT if they want deeply integrated AI tools. Musk also points to Grok’s absence from the App Store’s “Must-Have Apps” list as evidence of foul play.
The big ask: xAI wants damages and a court order forcing Apple and OpenAI to ditch what Musk calls their “anticompetitive scheme.”

Apple’s foldable iPhone: Five cameras, Touch ID, and no crease?

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is finally taking shape, and it looks like a mashup of the iPad mini and Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold line, but with some very Apple twists. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the foldable will feature five cameras (including front, inner, and dual rear setups), ditch Face ID for Touch ID on the power button, and ship without a SIM card slot.
Here’s what’s cooking in Cupertino:
Book-like design with a 5.5-inch cover screen and a 7.8-inch inner display
“Crease-free” inner panel thanks to laser-drilled metal plate tech
Testing in black and white colors, set for a 2026 release
Powered by Apple’s C2 modem for connectivity
If Apple nails its engineering promise of a crease-free display, it could leapfrog Samsung, whose Z Fold7 still shows a center wrinkle. The race is on, and next year’s foldable showdown is going to be wild.
Google unveils Pixel 10 lineup with magnets, durability, and AI tricks
Google just dropped its Pixel 10 series, and it’s a stacked lineup: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. While the designs aren’t wild departures, the upgrades are pretty solid.
Here’s what’s new:
Pixelsnap magnets + Qi2 charging: Built-in magnets (finally!) help Pixels snap right onto chargers. Qi2 speeds go up to 15W, with the Pro XL hitting 25W on Qi2.2.
More cameras for the base Pixel: A new 5x telephoto joins the main + ultrawide, though the main sensor is technically smaller than last year’s.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold = tougher: Now IP68-rated, meaning it’s dust-tight and water resistant—beating Samsung’s Z Fold7 in grit protection.
AI in everything: Magic Cue suggests info while you’re on calls, while Camera Coach gives real-time tips for better shots.
Translation: Google’s betting on magnets, durability, and AI to keep Pixel fans happy.
