Apple’s Foldable iPhone is Actually Happening

Get your folding fingers ready: Apple has finally kicked its long-teased foldable iPhone into prototyping, with plans for a grand entrance in 2026, according to DigiTimes. That means we’re still at least two TikTok generations away from seeing Tim Cook flexing a bendy iPhone on stage.

  • The first foldable iPhone is in the “P1” prototype phase as of June, with multiple rounds of trial runs ahead.
